T3 Alliance Onboarding Training in Nyahururu, Kenya December 13-16, 2022

The T3 Alliance will conduct a 4-day on-boarding training for hands-on technology in Kenya the week of December 1-16, 2022. This initial training includes learning how to set up a classroom environment where students can feel safe to experiment and try new ways of learning through technology that encourage innovation and collaboration.
Participants will build Raspberry Pi computers; learn how to program them, using a NodeRed and then the Design Thinking process to facilitate project management in giving back to the community. This training is targeted for teachers, principals, and community partners to learn how to implement T3 into their classrooms in the upcoming school year.
In addition to the face-to-face training, the T3 Alliance has on-going support afterwards for communication through Discord, as well as online courses in Canvas that are part of the training and follow-up support.
By invitation only, this initial training will set the stage for 2023 inclusive trainings for a university partnership and a much larger audience for training the trainers.
