BIGGER…BETTER…THAN BEFORE! Your students will have an unforgettable experience with our immersive One Day Film Skool program this summer. Learn from industry professionals and work with professional-grade equipment to get an insider’s view of TV and film production.
ONE DAY FILM SKOOL IS A CAREER FOCUSED WORKSHOP THAT PROVIDES HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE FOR STUDENTS INTERESTED IN MEDIA ARTS
Provide something different for your students this summer!
During this time students will:
- have first-hand experience on professional film/video equipment
- learn about the vast career opportunities in media
- learn what it takes to be: A director, A producer, an editor a set designer, a sound engineer, on-air talent and a camera operator and more
- produce a 3-5 minute video
What your students will gain:
Production Techniques: Students will learn fundamental production techniques, such as camera operation, sound recording, and lighting, to create their own short films or TV segments.
Cultural and Social Impact: Students will analyze how films and TV shows reflect and influence culture, society, and individual perspectives.
Media Ethics: Students will discuss ethical considerations in filmmaking and television production, including issues related to representation, copyright, and media responsibility.
Collaborative Skills: Students will work in teams on creative projects, fostering collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Presentation Skills: Students will learn to present their projects and ideas effectively, both orally and through visual presentations.
Career Exploration: Students will explore potential career paths in the film and TV industry, including roles in production, directing, writing, editing, and more.
